Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a ministry that is vital to any congregation, diocese, or community of faith not only because it can help ensure the future of your organization, but also because it offers your members the opportunity to make a final testament about the importance of their Christian faith.

The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) can assist you every step of the way – from developing your program, to equipping you with the resources you need to get results. Our services include:

  • Gift Administration: ECF is registered in all 50 states to administer life-income gifts.  We can create charitable gift annuities, offer a pooled income fund, and trustee charitable remainder trusts.  Tax documentation, charitable deduction letters, and payments are all handled by ECF.
  • Education & Planning: On- or off-site consultation for your staff and volunteers to sharpen the vision of your mission, endowment, or planned giving ministry; expert guidance to create a legacy society; and best practices on endowment policies and management.  To learn more, contact Jim Murphy, Senior Program Director at 800.697.2858 or email him.
  • Print & Web-based Resources: Informational booklets and brochures; free planned giving e-newsletters for both donors and planned giving leaders; an informational donor website for life-income gift illustrations, donor stories, and articles of interest; and Funding Future Ministry, an accessible, hands-on guide for implementing your planned giving program.
