This is also my opportunity to invite your participation during the coming weeks, as we bring this year's stewardship program to its completion. Specifically, I have two requests: First, that you plan to be with us for the ("Event") on (date), and, secondly, that you be at one of the services on Commitment Sunday.

I am convinced that we have among us the capability of fulfilling our mission in this place. I believe that our church deserves our support, and I hope you feel the same way.

During the past months, our Stewardship Committee has tried to help us all become as fully informed about the joys and responsibilities of Christian stewardship and the ways that our stewardship supports the Church's ministry and mission at all levels. Now, we are about to make our response.

Our ("Event") will give all of us an occasion to be together in Christ's fellowship, to hear some exciting things about our parish mission and ministry and to become involved in this work.

Please read the enclosed brochure and share it with someone who may be interested in our congregation. It tells the exciting accomplishments of the past year and lists our major opportunities for the coming year, reflecting the results of our long-range planning of last spring.

I am excited about the future of this parish as we move forward together.
